Above average temperatures and below average rainfall holding tough for awhile
HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - We’ll see another day of hazy sunshine, but there is some hope for smoke to thin out a bit over the next couple of days. Look for another above average day as highs mostly range from the upper 80s to the upper 90s with the hottest temperatures out west. One of the bigger differences today compared to previous days is that winds will be breezier out of the south at around 10 to 20 mph with gusts to around 25 mph. Saturday looks like more of the same with highs mostly in the mid 80s to mid 90s. It’ll be another breezy day. We will see some showers and thunderstorms in western portions of the Local4 viewing area Saturday evening, but they will likely diminish around the time that they start to get near or east of highway 83. Isolated severe storms will be possible.
