The grim search for a missing kayaker at Sessions Lake continues without respite. Since the unfortunate incident this past Sunday, around 7 p.m., when a Grand Rapids man in his mid-30s went missing after capsizing, local authorities have been ceaselessly scouring the area. According to FOX 17, the Ionia County Sheriff's Office has described the lake's features as challenging, filled with depths and facets that obstruct their efforts. Public access has been closed off since Wednesday evening to bolster the search operations.

GRAND HAVEN, MI - A millage that provides a little over half of the Tri-Cities Historical Museum’s annual funding is up for renewal on the Aug. 6 election ballot. The free museum, located at 200 Washington Ave. in Grand Haven, mission is creating connections to Tri-Cities history.
