    Happy Holidays! It is less than two weeks to Christmas, but that doesn’t stop all the fun things that are still available for your family to do before then. If you are still out and about finishing your Christmas shopping, why not check out these holiday festivities. Here are the latest holiday events happening around Michigan from Dec. 13th to Dec. 19th.

    A Lighthouse Christmas at the Grand Traverse Lighthouse 12/13-12/24 - Northport

    The Grand Traverse Lighthouse and grounds will be decorated with the sights and sounds of the Holidays, so come and join us with a walk back in time to the 1920s and 1930s. We will have trees decorated, holiday cutouts, and our famous Christmas inflatables outside. Inside, enjoy a McCormick family holiday self-guided tour. Enjoy the wintry view from the Lighthouse Tower lookout. The Grand Traverse Lighthouse is at 15500 N Lighthouse Point Road.

    Bad Santa Holiday Trivia 12/16 - Howell

    Grab your friends & family and join us on Thursday at Aberrant Ales from 7 pm to 9 pm for Bad Santa Trivia night! The theme of the night is Holiday Movies. We will be raffling off great presents and more, So don’t forget to bring extra cash! There will be a prize for most holiday spirit and best dressed for the holiday season! For just $40, your team of four is guaranteed a night of good fun, good food, and a lot of laughs. The trivia questions will all be answered through a mobile device, so make sure to come fully charged and ready to play. Your team will also get one free appetizer for the night.     Pentatonix: The Evergreen Christmas Tour 12/16 - Grand Rapids

    Pentatonix has had two #1 albums on Billboard's Top 200 Chart - 2015's gold-certified self-titled album and the 2x platinum That's Christmas To Me. The group has received multiple RIAA certifications for multi-platinum, platinum, gold-selling albums, and singles, a Daytime Emmy nomination, starred in three-holiday specials on NBC and appeared in the feature film Pitch Perfect 2. The new holiday album will be the 6th holiday-themed album by the quintet and will be released on October 29th via RCA Records. In addition to the album announcement, the group also released the first track from the upcoming album, "It's Been a Long, Long Time."     Dearborn Symphony Orchestra - Holiday Pops 12/17 - Dearborn

    Join the Dearborn Symphony Orchestra with Rich Ridenour and vocalist Stacey Mason at 8 p.m. on December 17 at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center. The Holiday Pops concert will include a musical jubilee of your favorite holiday tunes. The Ford Community & Performing Arts Center is at 15801 Michigan Avenue.

    The Nutcracker 12/17-12/19 - Clinton Twp

    Celebrate the spirit of the holiday season with the Macomb Ballet Company as Artistic Director Amber Megna Michalik and Assistant Directors Sarah Komara and Mary Sherman bring you the traditional holiday favorite, The Nutcracker at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts. Travel by Clara on a magical adventure to a land reined by a Snow Queen and be led by Snowflakes, through an enchanted forest to a Kingdom of Sweets, filled with colorful characters and pure festive delight. The Nutcracker will captivate audiences, both young and old, and is sure to keep hearts warm and spirited all season long! Macomb Center for the Performing Arts is at 44575 Garfield Road.

    Rudolph wasn’t allowed to join in all the reindeer games. Instead, he created his own and wants to invite the whole family to come to play them! Travel around town and complete all his fun challenges to win a prize in this interactive scavenger hunt for the whole family. Only one person needs to register for a whole team. Participants can do the scavenger hunt whenever they like during the two days around Downtown Howell at 26 Grand River Avenue.

    Michigan is famous for its snowy, frigid winter season. Experience some exciting winter activities at the Outdoor Adventure Center but in the comfort of a heated building! We will have indoor "snowball fights" and "prize fishing!" This is a drop-in event and may end earlier depending on the number of participants and supplies. The Outdoor Adventure Center is at 1801 Atwater Street.

    Seven Lakes State Park - Enchanted Borealis Trail 12/18 - Holly

    Come out and experience the park trails like never before! Here is your chance to enjoy a night hike with a fun holiday feel. Meander through the forest by following a one-mile lantern-lit path and enjoy some colorful holiday lights along the way. The hike will start at the Dickinson Picnic Shelter. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared to traverse hilly and uneven terrain. Pre-registration is required for one of the three one-hour time slots as parking is limited. Participants must Register Online before Dec. 16. If you think you will work up an appetite while hiking? Bring hotdogs and S'mores materials, and reserve a campfire for your household. Campfires will be available in the campground for a small donation of $20, including a bundle of wood and the fire starting. All donations will go toward future improvement projects here at the park. Campfires are limited. There will be an option to reserve a campfire when you register for the event. All donations will be non-refundable. The fun will be at 14390 Fish Lake Road in Holly.

    A Motown Christmas 12/18 - Dearborn

    Scotty Productions presents "A Motown Christmas" on December 18th at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center at 15801 Michigan Avenue. This show will feature The Motortown All-Stars, a world-class vocal group assembled from members of The Edsels ("Rama Lama Ding Dong"), The Capitals ("Cool Jerk"), and former members of the Temptations ("My Girl," "Ain't Too Proud To Beg," "Papa Was A Rollin Stone," "Wish it Would Rain," "Can't Get Next To You"), Mark Scott's Miracles ("Tears of a Clown," Oh Baby Baby," "Love Machine," "Tracks of My Tears"), The Marvelettes ("Don't Mess With Bill," "Please Mr. Postman," "Beachwood 4-5789,") and The Shades of Blue ("Oh How Happy").     Holiday Candlelight Tea & Tour 12/19 - Kalamazoo

    Sample a traditional Sunday Supper Tea of meat pies, sandwiches, soup, and of course, holiday desserts and beverages. Work on a jigsaw puzzle. Write a note to a friend. Let the softer sounds of the season, conversation with a friend, or moment of solitude restore a sense of balance and wonder. The ticket includes a tour of the Inn, scavenger hunt, and other festivities. The cost is $30/person. Reservations are required—call 269 330 5350. Tour is at 229 Stuart Avenue.
