Michigan's Cider Mills You Have to Visit This Fall
Autumn Decorations at Blake's Orchard & Cider MillHeather Raulerson. Autumn is my favorite time when the leaves start changing colors, temperatures become cooler, and orchards are ripe with apples ready to be picked. One of the greatest pastimes for the midwest is to visit cider mills in the fall, pick apples and pumpkins, walkthrough giant corn mazes, and take home some delicious apple cider and doughnuts. Here are some of the best Southeast Michigan Cider Mills you must visit this fall.
Things to See on the Graceland Tours - Celebrating Graceland's 40th year open to the public
Home is where the heart is. And Graceland is the heart of Elvis Presley. He decorated the mansion with his tastes to make it comfortable for him. I’m not a fan of the 70s decor, but then again, I’m not a millionaire that recorded 149 songs and acted in 31 films. Graceland is a fabulous museum that honors and remembers everything that Elvis did for the entertainment world. To mark the 45th anniversary of Elvis' passing, Graceland is launching ELVIS 45, a year-long celebration featuring concerts, screenings, signature events, record giveaways, and more. You can see all of this on the Graceland Tours.

Joe, a university professor, leads the tour so, you know you will get tons of historical facts throughout the tour. The tour is fun and irreverent with stories of pirates, vampires, mass burials, executions, torture, brothels, and of course ghosts.
Exploring the Haunted Eastern State Penitentiary
Walking through the abandoned cell blocks of America’s most historic prison is eerily haunting. To see the cells where infamous inmates like Al Capone and bank robber ‘Slick Wille” Sutton spent their days is eye-opening. The Eastern State Penitentiary was the first prison in the world designed for reformation instead of punishment. You can take a self-guided tour through this abandoned prison complex that became the model for hundreds of prisons worldwide.
