Ohio marijuana retailer expects sales to start ‘in the next couple weeks’
CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The State of Ohio’s Division of Cannabis Control has begun issuing certificates of operation to stores in the Tri-State. Cresco Labs, which operates five stores in the Tri-State, said it received its dual-use operational license. It’s one of 15 dual-use cultivators and processors with certificates of operation in Ohio.
Teen defendant in downtown Cincinnati beatings released pending final disposition
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - One of the eight teens who swarmed and beat random strangers in downtown Cincinnati is out of detention -- for now. The presiding juvenile court judge for Hamilton County released the child to the care of their grandmother, pending final disposition in August. Those beatings downtown happened in January.
Fulton Store Employee Struck by Hit and Run Driver
Officers with the Fulton Police Department were called Wednesday morning to 3J’s convenience store in reference to someone being struck by a vehicle. West Kentucky Star reported a store employee was in the parking lot checking the fuel levels, when she was hit from behind by a silver SUV that promptly left the scene.

Dosker Manor residents without power for more than 20 hours
One of Dosker Manor's three buildings lost power around 4 p.m. Thursday, and it remained off until mid-Friday, leaving residents without air conditioning and electricity for more than 20 hours. Mosquitoes with West Nile virus found in 3 more Louisville zip codes, including downtown
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Mosquitoes carrying the West Nile virus have now been found in six Louisville zip codes this year. The Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness said in a news release Friday that the mosquitoes were found in the 40202, 40212 and 40215 zip codes. As a result, fogging will take place this week in downtown Louisville, the Portland neighborhood and the area around Churchill Downs.
