Bluegrass Community and Technical College appoints new Winchester campus director
Renee McFall has been named director of Bluegrass Community and Technical College’s Winchester campus, effective July 16, 2024. McFall brings over 14 years of experience in administrative and leadership roles across social work, employment services, and industry outreach. She most recently served as the associate director of employer relations and outreach at Eastern Kentucky University, where she was instrumental in developing key industry partnerships to enhance work-based learning opportunities for students.
Goodin headed into senior season at EKU
Defensive back Tré Goodin is headed into his senior season with the Eastern Kentucky University football team. Goodin, a Taylor County High School graduate, played in all 11 of Eastern Kentucky’s games during the 2023 college football season. As a junior, Goodin recorded 14 tackles and one pass breakup. The Taylor County High School product logged a career-high six tackles in a game versus Stephen F. Austin on Nov. 18, 2023.
Bowling Green Regional Airport to host annual Aviation Summer Camps next week
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - The annual Aviation Summer Camps are back at the Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport. The camps partner with the Aviation Museum of Kentucky based in Lexington. The Aviation Museum of Kentucky allows each chosen airport to name their camp after individuals who have contributed to the Aviation Summer Camp in some way.
Western Ky. broadcasting company adds Madisonville radio stations
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (KT) — A western Kentucky-based media broadcasting company has added radio stations in Madisonville to its array of operations. The Edge Media Group has announced the acquisition of Sound Broadcasters of Madisonville. Sound Broadcasters is owned and operated by Bob Kelley and his family. The company includes WFMW 730 AM and 107.7 FM, 93.9 WKTG-FM, Mad Mix 105.9 and The Drive Classic Hits 94.9.
