SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Multiple organizations come together to provide assistance and resources to displaced people in Shreveport-Bossier. On July 26 - 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the 2024 Pop-Up Shelter, a resource fair held annually to change the lives of displaced people, will be held at the Louisiana State Fairgrounds at the Ag Building, 3701 Hudson Street.

One of SPAR’s pools in Shreveport closing for remainder of season
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) announced Thursday (July 25) that one of its pools is closing for the remainder of the summer season. Airport Park pool is closing due to mechanical issues requiring specialized parts and repairs. SPAR says the swimming season will be over by the time the repairs can be made, so the pool is closing now.
