Buying and Using Fireworks in the Davidson County TN - Metro Nashville Area

In the Nashville and Metro Nashville area, it is illegal to buy or sell fireworks, and it is also unlawful to set off fireworks without a permit in Davidson County. Fireworks stands are a stone's throw away from the county line, making purchasing private-use fireworks easily accessible. However, setting off fireworks on your property is prohibited if you live in Davidson County. If you receive a citation, it is considered a misdemeanor, and if convicted, you can face a fine of up to $50.
