    As NYFW comes to a close, we pulled up to celebrate a timeless brand that keeps women at the center. Marie Claire US, a leading women’s lifestyle brand, celebrated 30 years of highlighting influential, purposeful, and stylish women with a cocktail party co-hosted by iconic retailer Bloomingdale’s at its flagship store on 59th Street.

    “From Italy with Love”

    Drawing inspiration from the brands’ rich histories, the party commemorated the launch of Bloomingdale’s “From Italy with Love” fall campaign. This campaign captures the essence of Italian style, culture, design, and cuisine, showcasing over 150 brands. It also features over 300 exclusive pieces, including Valentino, Ferragamo, Missoni, La Double J, Fendi, and more.

    Best of all, the immersive event highlighted the attention to detail, showcasing the Italian flair. The night was full of delicious food and refreshing drinks amid the glitz and glam of the latest fashion trends.

    A Tribute to Marie Claire’s Legacy

    A bevy of stylish guests gathered at the fashion landmark, including Jordan Chiles , Tayshia Adams, Nia Sioux, Carly Cushnie, Sai de Silva, Tenicka Boyd, and so many more . Nikki Ogunnaike, Marie Claire US Editor-in-Chief, and Bloomingdale’s RTW Fashion Director Janelle Lloyd co-hosted the celebration of Marie Claire’s three decades. A legacy full of groundbreaking fashion photoshoots, covers, and industry-leading storytelling.

    Moreover, the evening honored Ogunnaike’s first anniversary with the magazine and her vision for its future as an iconic publication. Bloomingdale’s provided the finest Italian fashion, perfectly complementing the vibrant atmosphere.

    Looking Back and Moving Forward

    Ogunnaike recently reflected on the momentous occasion in an MC article , saying, “The moment makes me think of all the change that’s happened to MC since then and how the magazine continues to evolve. ”

    She went on to say, “The world around us does, too. Take Kamala Harris, who is poised to make history in America’s presidential election. Her common refrain, ‘You exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you,’ rings in my head as we celebrate three decades of this magazine, and I think of the pioneers who led this brand before me.”
