Day one of the Revolt World Event began with a VIP brunch held at the Belaire Headquarters. The swanky, Instagramable establishment had glasses of champagne and hors d’oeuvres floating throughout the room, as guests mixed and mingled. Following the brunch, attendees headed to a 50-acre campus in College Park, Georgia for a DJ set by Tori Brix, a live cooking show featuring Ari Fletcher, Trap Karaoke, performances by Bia, Flo Milli, and Lady London, and a live taping of “Drink Champs” featuring Method Man.

Method Man lit up the stage with his pearly whites and humble spirit during a live taping of “Drink Champs.” The podcast, hosted by N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, featured a Q&A with the rapper-turned-actor, who discussed everything from his time with Wu-Tang to his transition into the acting world.

And, of course, the hosts addressed the “sexy” allegations that Method Man is humbly determined to ignore. When asked how he remains humble despite all of his success, the “Power” actor said, “Well, I know how I got here, and a lot of people supported Wu-Tang in the early years, and that’s the main reason why we’re revered today. We didn’t switch up on them, so why would I switch up now?” he began.

“People always talk about the sexy thing, and I get it. I don’t even like bringing this sh*t up. It seems like a dude is ungrateful. Let me say this: I’m smart enough to know what it means, right? But humble enough to not let it go to my head. That’s all I’m doing right there. I’m 53, and I’m happy to be in this shell that I’m in right now, to be living, loving. So what you guys see as far as the physical, that’s from the inner, and what’s coming from the inner is happiness. Genuine happiness,” he continued.

    Soundbath meditations

There was a heavy emphasis for attendees to find their center during Revolt World. The event created a safe space for guests to prioritize rest and relaxation with sound baths, guided breath work and movement, melta meditations, and a wellness panel.

Hosted under the sun, guests were able to connect to the earth by grounding themselves in nature. Not only were the sessions soothing and freeing, a few people fell asleep during the meditations because they reached peak relaxation.
