Cost of summer cookout reaches record high
SAN ANTONIO - With summer in full swing and the Fourth of July holiday tomorrow, many will be dealing with high food costs when it comes to cookouts. This year the average cookout will cost $71.22 to feed 10 people, according to a new survey by the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF). This marks a five percent increase from last year and a nearly 30 percent increase from just five years ago.
