FAIRMONT, W.Va (WDTV) - Fairmont City Council held their final meeting of the month of July Tuesday night. Seven ordinances were up for adoption that would impact daily life in the Friendly City, including amending and supplementing articles regarding how to make drive-through facilities conditionally permitted in the main corridor commercial district and make restaurants with alcohol sales conditionally permitted in neighborhood mixed use.

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Good morning NCWV! We are halfway through the week and we are still seeing these much needed rain showers this morning. These rain showers are remaining relatively scattered throughout the day as this frontal system is still stalling over us, but we will see an increase in showers later today as another frontal system is starting to push into the Ohio River valley and is going to be in NCWV by the end of today. With these scattered showers throughout most of today, our high temperatures are going to be very similar to yesterday only getting into the low to mid 80s in the lowlands and the low to mid 70s in the higher elevations.
