NEW YORK -- New Yorkers who qualify for the state's $350 million in supplemental payments could see their checks arrive in the mail as early as this week. Gov. The Rochester Police Department is asking for the public's help in solving the murder of a 5-year-old boy. Malakai Stovall was killed in an arson that happened at 1290 Portlant Avenue in Rochester on July 29, 2024. Malakai died in a fire that was started at the home.
