NY weather update: Flood advisory expected to expire at 12:15 a.m.
The advisory was for Nassau and Suffolk counties. "The Flood Advisory will expire at 12:15 a.m. early this morning for a portion of southeast New York, including the following areas, Nassau and Suffolk. The heavy rain has ended. Urban and small stream flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures," states the National Weather Service.

17 cameras are busting speeders on several roads in the Empire State this week. One of them is back in Central New York. The radar was installed as part of legislation, signed into law in September 2022. From July 8 through August 2, the Floral Park-Bellerose Union Free School District is hosting a Summer Enrichment Program for its students.
