Quad City Animal Welfare Center Celebrating National Pet Immunization Awareness Month
August is National Immunization Awareness Month: a time to raise awareness about the importance of vaccinations for pets. Vaccinations are a vital part of a pet’s preventive healthcare and can help protect them from serious diseases, minimize the spread of disease, and even save their lives. The QCAWC holds a Vaccine & Wellness clinic every Wednesday and the first Saturday of every month from 8am to 11am at the QCAWC Spay/Neuter & Wellness Clinic located at 612 1st Street West in Milan, Illinois. For the month of August, the QCAWC will also hold a Mobile Vaccine & Wellness Clinic at Zion Lutheran Church on Friday, August 9th from 2pm to 4pm. Zion Lutheran Church is located at 1216 West 8th Street in Davenport, Iowa. Rue 21 held it’s grand re-opening Friday at the mall after they closed in early June after the company filed for bankruptcy.
