    Looking for something to do in the Evansville and Henderson area this weekend? Check out our list of local events and activities.

    All week

    Vanderburgh County 4-H Fair

    Through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Vanderburgh County 4-H Center, 201 E. Boonville-New Harmony Road. Admission is $10 for ages 10 and up, and $40 for weekly pass

    The 4-H fair is a week-long, family-friendly celebration of community, agriculture and youth empowerment. Attendees can enjoy food booths, arts and crafts, livestock displays, meeting with exhibitors and learning about their projects, tractor pulls, motocross, a rodeo, demolition derby and more.

    Wednesday

    Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters Festival

    July 24-27, Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Rookies, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Rookies, 117 Second St. in Henderson, Kentucky, and The Elm, 120 N Elm St. in Henderson. Tickets are $20 for individual sessions .

    This festival spans several nights of intimate, acoustic performances by some of Nashville’s award-winning singers and songwriters. Attendees will have an up-close-and-personal experience while hearing stories about how and why their favorite songs were written.     Thursday

    Free vegetable and flower share

    1 to 3 p.m., EVPL Stringtown, 2100 Stringtown Road. Free.

    Share extra vegetables, flowers, and recipes with the community, or pick up some goodies from a neighbor at this free community event. Registration is required only for those bringing items to share.

    Burdette Park storytime

    3 p.m., Burdette Park, 5301 Nurrenbern Road. Free.

    EVPL and Burdette Park are hosting a series of weekly storytimes for children ages 5 and under at Anchor Playground near the park's main entrance. This event will feature stories, songs, and crafts.

    Music in the Park

    6 p.m., Akin Park, 1299 Parkside Drive. Free.

    Bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy live music. Food trucks will also be at the event.

    Movies in the Park

    8 p.m., Igelheart Park, 6101 N. First Ave. Free.

    The whole family is encouraged to come out and enjoy onsite food trucks, and movies.

    Friday

    Henderson Farmers Market

    Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon, Henderson Farmers Market, 381 Sam Ball Way at the fairgrounds in Henderson. Free.

    Discover fresh local produce, jams, meat, homegrown flowers and baked goods every Friday and Saturday through October.

    Concerts on the Lawn

    6 p.m., EVPL East, 840 E. Chandler Ave. Free.

    Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks to enjoy a performance by Monte Skelton.

    Evansville Otters baseball

    6:35 p.m., Bosse Field, 23 Don Mattingly Way in Evansville. Tickets are $7 to $14 .

    Join the Evansville Otters for a night of baseball as they take on the Lake Erie Crushers.

    Justin Moore

    8 p.m., Old National Events Plaza, 715 Locust St . Tickets range from $39.50 to $99.

    Country music artist Justin Moore is stopping in Evansville on his tour.

    Saturday

    Evansville Farmers Market

    9 a.m. to 2 p.m., 815 John St. Free.

    Shop from local vendors and food trucks while joining the fun of this weekly market.

    Franklin Street Bazaar

    9 a.m. to 1 p.m. along West Franklin Street. Free.

    This weekly market is on the lawn of the EVPL West Branch Library with hundreds of vendors from local farmers and producers to bakers to artists and craftsmen having pop-up shops for visitors to check out local products.

    The Sustainability Super Saturday

    11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Evansville Museum of Arts, History, and Science, 411 SE Riverside Drive. Free.

    This family-friendly event will feature recycling relaying, learning about landfills, decorating your own recycling bin, book swap, and much more!

    6:35 p.m., Bosse Field, 23 Don Mattingly Way in Evansville. Tickets are $7 to $14 .

    Join the Evansville Otters for a night of baseball as they take on the Lake Erie Crushers for Shark Week Night.

    R & B Icon Keith Sweat is stopping in Evansville on his Sweat, Love, and Laugh Tour with a special comedian guest.

    Jazz night in Boonville

    7 p.m., Warrick County Museum, 217 S. First St. Boonville, Indiana. Tickets are $20.

    Enjoy live music from the Honey Roy Jazz and Blues Band, snacks, and a cash bar. More information can be found at warrickcountymuseum.org .
