HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will perform a routine inspection of both U.S. 41 bridges in August, resulting in possible delays.

Palmer Engineering is set to begin inspection of the northbound bridge on Monday, August 5 and is scheduled to end on Saturday August 10. Work will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

A crew will then return on August 19 to begin inspection of the southbound bridge with work following the same frame. Inspection of the southbound bridge is scheduled to be completed by August 24.

Drivers are urged to watch for signage and use caution when workers are present.
