EVPL Foundation Book Sale to be held August 3-4

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library (EVPL) Foundation will soon host its annual Summer Book Sale.

Officials say the EVPL Foundation will host its annual Summer Book Sale at Washington Square Mall. Hours of the sale are August 3, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and August 4, from noon to 3 p.m.

“The Summer Book Sale is an eagerly anticipated event in our community, offering a unique opportunity for readers to add books, movies, and music to their own collection,” said Eric Weyer, President of the EVPL Foundation Board. “When our community supports the EVPL Foundation, they also support the important initiatives we fund, such as library programs, services and special projects.”

The EVPL Foundation says thousands of items, including books, movies and CDs, will be available for purchase, mostly ranging between $0.50 and $2.00. Some specialty items will be more than $2.00. Cash and checks are accepted, and a credit card payment option will be available with a minimum purchase of $10.

Officials say the Fall Mini Book Sale will be at EVPL Central on November 9 and 10.
