Project on KY 54 closes entrance to Wimsatt Court

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet say they have planned a multi-week blockage of Wimsatt Court on KY 54.

According to a press release, the entrance to Wimsatt Court, on the south side of KY 54, will be blocked for up to four weeks as crews adjust the alignment of the street to the configuration it will need to intersect the widened roadway.

Officials say drivers can still access the businesses located on Wimsatt Court by taking Highland Pointe Drive.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says delays may be possible during the road work. They say the closure is expected to begin August 1.
