    "Let's get krauty!"

That's the message from Henderson's Sauerkraut Days , scheduled for this weekend, even as the city continues to deal with historic flooding , leaving limited options for coming into or leaving the city.

Nonetheless, the festival will go on with some minor schedule changes, the festival says.

The festival's classic car "night cruise" will not take place, but will be set up at the festival. But it still plans to host live music, inflatables, a tractor ride, a 5K run, and more, as planned. That, of course, includes free sauerkraut and a sauerkraut eating competition.

The flooding will make getting to Henderson trickier than usual. Visitors will have to enter the city from the west due to road closures along Highway 19 from Highway 169, Mayor Keith Swenson explained to KSTP , adding that the city is looking forward to a "carefree weekend."

Revelers are encouraged to check conditions before heading to the festival, which begins Friday, June 28, as the flooding situation throughout southern Minnesota continues to change.
