    Bullington Gardens Fairy Trail: Open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Saturday through August, 95 Upper Red Oak Trail, Hendersonville. The gardens and grounds include multiple gardens, pumpkin patch and half-mile nature trail through wooded area of the gardens. Free but donations accepted.

    Hendersonville Farmers Market: 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays through October, Historic Train Depot, 650 Maple St., downtown Hendersonville. Fresh produce, meats, baked goods, crafts, live entertainment, food trucks and more.

    Music on Main and classic car show: 7 p.m. Fridays through Aug. 16, Welcome Center, 201 S. Main St., Hendersonville. Different bands each week. Held outdoors, bring a chair or blanket. Free.

    Carl Sandburg National Historic Site: Little River Road, Flat Rock. The visitor center/park store and Sandburg Home is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday. The goat barn is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. daily. Access to the goat barn, grounds, trails and the farm is free.
