Some Minnesotans now able to apply for pre-approval for cannabis business license

Economy Airline to Pull All Flights from Minnesota
Minnesota will soon have one less airline providing service to travelers, as one economy airline has made the decision to pull out of the state. Minnesota currently has over a dozen airlines that serve the state, including Delta, United, American, and low-cost carriers like Sun Country, Allegiant, and JetBlue, also service the state, but one of those will no longer fly into or out of Minnesota.
Minnesota Looking to Increase Numbers of This Animal
The Minnesota DNR in collaboration with the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa plan to move elk from the northwestern part of the state to the northeastern part of the state near Cloquet and north. Glen Schmitt from Outdoor News joined me on WJON. He says the plan is to transfer 15 to 20 elk from the northwestern part of the state to the northeastern part with the hopes of growing the herd. Schmitt says elk used to live in that part of the state many years ago. He explains the plan is to do this annually starting in 2026 until the elk reproduce on their own.

Man hurt in head-on crash in Otter Tail County
OTTERTAIL, Minn. (KFGO) – A west-central Minnesota man was hurt in a crash on Highway 78 near County Road 1 in Ottertail Thursday morning. The State Patrol says a 16-year-old boy was driving southbound in an SUV and 42-year-old Clint Kysar of Deer Creek was driving north in a car when the two vehicles collided.
