Portion of I-295 in Eastern Henrico to close Oct. 4-5

The Virginia Department of Transportation will close all northbound lanes of I-295 in Eastern Henrico near US-60 Oct. 4-5 as part of a pavement replacement project.

The lanes will be closed between 8 p.m., Oct. 4 and 9 a.m., Oct. 5 at mile marker 29. VDOT will divert motorists from I-295 northbound onto the commuter dispersal lanes at Exit 28 during the work. Drivers will then be able to continue through the commuter dispersal lanes and merge back onto I-295.
