Rutland Tractor Driver Charged With Reckless Homicide
A motorcyclist's death is being pinned squarely on an alleged reckless and impaired tractor driver from Rutland. Fleeing man captured, arrested for numerous offenses
PEORIA (25News Now) - A man was arrested on weapon and drug offenses after fleeing police Saturday morning. Peoria Police said 24-year-old Patrick Davis was arrested on preliminary charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, resisting police, possession of a firearm without a valid FOID card and unlawful possession of cannabis.
La Salle Shooting Victim In Stable Condition
The search for witnesses and more information continues in regards to a Sunday morning shooting in downtown La Salle. A 25-year-old Ottawa man was shot once in the chest at around 1:30 Sunday morning on Tonti Street, near Doc's Pub. A La Salle detective tells 103.9 WLPO that the shooting victim was eventually taken to OSF in Peoria where he was listed in stable condition as of Monday afternoon.
