MOSIER, Ore. (KATU) — A new fire broke out Monday afternoon near Mosier, in the Columbia River Gorge, and is called the Microwave Tower Fire. Red Cross opens shelter for those displaced by Durkee Fire
EAST OREGON (CBS2) — The Red Cross of Idaho, East Oregon and its partners opened an evacuation shelter in Ontario for those displaced by the Durkee wildfire. The shelter is located at the Malheur County Fairgrounds, 795 NW 9th St, and provides a safe place for people to stay, meals, information, emotional support and access to other community resources.
