    WIAA track and field: Here are 44 Manitowoc and Sheboygan athletes to watch at sectionals

    The WIAA track and field postseason continues on Thursday with several Manitowoc and Sheboygan county athletes to participate in sectionals.

    Individuals finishing in the top four at regionals in each event in all three divisions advance to sectionals.

    Here are 44 sectional qualifiers, in alphabetical order, to keep an eye on from the area.

    Maggie Behler, fr., Kohler

    Behler won both the 1,600- and 3,200-meters at Monday’s Cedar Grove-Belgium Division 3 regional. She finished the 1,600 with a time of 5 minutes and 34.69 seconds and 11:55.03 in the 3,200.

    Evan Behling, sr., Sheboygan Falls

    Behling competed at the Division 2 Kiel regional, winning the triple jump with a distance of 20 feet and 8.5 inches. He also qualified for sectionals in the 100.

    Sophie Beightol, jr., Cedar Grove-Belgium

    Beightol was the regional champion in the 400 (1:03.77) in Cedar Grove while also advancing in the 200.

    Elizabeth Blauert, jr., Manitowoc Lutheran

    Blauert earned the title in the long jump (15-11.75) in Hilbert. She also qualified for sectionals in the 200.

    Tessa Campbell, jr., Manitowoc Lincoln

    Campbell won a pair of regional titles at Division 1 regional at Neenah on Monday. She was first in both the 200 (25.80) and 400 (58.59).

    Bennett Cornwell, jr., Kohler

    Cornwell was victorious in the long jump (20-7) to advance to sectionals on Thursday.

    Mason Davies, jr., Oostburg

    Davies earned the triple jump (42-2) title out of the Kiel regional.

    Destiny Duesterbeck, jr., Sheboygan North

    Duesterbeck won the shot put (40-4.5) at Neenah to move on to sectionals.

    Brody Feldmann, jr., Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah

    Feldmann secured three regional titles on Monday in Cedar Grove, winning the 200 (23.05) in addition to the 110 hurdles (15.38) and 300 hurdles (41.25).

    Kaitlyn Feldmann, jr., Elkhart Lake–Glenbeulah

    Feldmann won the high jump (4-8) in Cedar Grove to advance to sectionals.

    Rachel Halverson, sr., Sheboygan Falls

    Halverson earned regional titles in the long jump (16-3), triple jump (33-2.5) and 100 hurdles (16.14) in Kiel.

    Wyatt Herzog, jr., Plymouth

    Herzog won the 400 (50.59) at Kiel to advance to sectionals.

    Will Huenink, jr., Cedar Grove-Belgium

    Huenink was victorious in the 3,200 (10:01.07). He also qualified for sectionals in the 1,600 out of the Cedar Grove-Belgium regional.

    Rebecca Hoffmann, sr., Ozaukee

    Hoffman earned the 100 hurdles title (17.09) in Cedar Grove.

    Jack Jacquat, sr., Plymouth

    Jacquat was champion in the high jump (5-10) out of the Kiel regional.

    Caleb Jatczak, sr., Manitowoc Lincoln

    The senior won the 1,600 (4:32.51) at the Neenah regional.

    Xavier Kauth, jr., Valders

    Kauth swept the 110 hurdles (15.36) and 300 hurdles (43.50) in Hilbert.

    Kennedy Kneser, so., Oostburg

    Kneser will compete at sectionals as a regional champion in both shot put (38-0) and discus (121-0).

    Olivia Knowles, fr., Sheboygan South

    Knowles was regional champ at Neenah in the 300 hurdles (48.12) while also qualifying for sectionals in the 100 hurdles.

    Makiah Krause, so., Manitowoc Lutheran

    Krause will compete at sectionals in three individual events, the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and triple jump. She won the 300 hurdles (52.12).

    Breanne Kulpa, jr., Two Rivers

    Kulpa was the only regional champion to come out of the Division 2 regional at Brillion on Monday, winning the 800 (2:30.93). She also advanced in the 1,600.

    Paige Kurlinski, jr., Ozaukee

    Kurlinski took home the title in both the shot put (37-7.5) and discus (110-0) at Cedar Grove.

    Sophia Kwacz, so., Kohler

    Kwacz won the long jump (16-2) in Cedar Grove and will also move in the 300 hurdles.

    Ryan Lang, jr., Sheboygan North

    Lang was regional champ in the 800 (2:02.27) at Neenah.

    Dyani Lisowe, fr., Elkhart Lake–Glenbeulah

    Lisowe earned the title in the triple jump (32-1) at Cedar Grove while also qualifying for sectionals in the long jump.

    Maddison McDole, so., Kiel

    McDole won the high jump (4-10) at the Kiel regional.

    Ethan Vander Meer, sr., Kiel

    Vander Meer will compete at sectionals in both the 1,600 and as the champion out of the Kiel regional in the 3,200 (10:10.92).

    Edi Mella, sr., Plymouth

    Mella earned the regional crown in Kiel in the discus (156-0).

    Grace Mueller, sr., Roncalli

    Mueller won the high jump in Hilbert (4-9) to advance to sectionals.

    Peyton Mueller, jr., Ozaukee

    Mueller moved on to sectionals as the regional champion in the triple jump (39-0.75) while also advancing in the high jump in Cedar Grove on Monday.

    Billy Navis, jr., Cedar Grove-Belgium

    Navis won the 100 (11.43) at the Cedar Grove-Belgium regional while also qualifying for sectionals in the 200.

    Aaron Nehls, sr., Ozaukee

    Nehls will compete at sectionals in 3,200 and in the 1,600 (4:40.78) as the regional champion out of the Cedar Grove-Belgium regional.

    Allena O'Connell, so., Reedsville

    O’Connell excelled in the distance races in Hilbert, winning the regional title in the 1,600 (5:45.67) while also qualifying in the 3,200.

    Quirt Potter, sr., Roncalli

    Potter was victorious in the 100 (11.62) and 200 (24.07) at the Hilbert regional on Monday.

    Kensington Rosenow, so., Mishicot

    Rosenow won the 200 (27.20) in Hilbert to move on.

    Reid Rydzewski, sr., Random Lake

    Rydzewski earned the title in the high jump (5-10) in Cedar Grove.

    Trenton Schuettpelz, so., Manitowoc Lutheran

    Schuettpelz took home the crown in Hilbert in the triple jump (40-4) while also advancing in the high jump.

    Beth Steffen, fr., Sheboygan Falls

    Steffen was victorious in both the 1,600 (5:29.37) and 3,200 (11:59.08) at the Kiel regional.

    Mason Stoeckigt, jr., Howards Grove

    Stoeckigt was the regional champion in Cedar Grove in the shot put (46-8).

    Gabriel Stuebs, jr., Manitowoc Lutheran

    Stuebs qualified for sectionals after winning the regional title in the 400 (51.59) in Hilbert.

    Hunter Taddy, sr., Reedsville

    Taddy took home titles in both the 800 (1:59.64) and 1,600 (4:37.33) out of Hilbert on Monday.

    Jamison Velzke, jr., Cedar Grove-Belgium

    Velzke earned the regional crown in the 800 (59.06) in Cedar Grove to move on to sectionals.

    Travis Vertin, sr., Manitowoc Lincoln

    Vertin was victorious in the 300 hurdles (42.32) at Neenah while also taking second in the 110 hurdles (15.54).

    Addison Vogel, so., Kiel

    Vogel won the 800 (2:32.97) at the Kiel regional.
