    The county fair is back. Here’s everything to do in Manitowoc this week.

    Make a beeline for the Manitowoc County Fair

    One of Manitowoc’s biggest events is back! The Manitowoc County Fair is packed with fun over five days – Aug. 21 to 25.

    Entertainment includes a sea lion show, grandstand events, carnival rides, animal and art exhibits, and more.

    Go hungry, as there’s plenty of fresh-squeezed lemonade, funnel cakes, and corndogs for everyone!

    The Rahr-West Art Museum, 610 N. Eighth St., recently installed a new exhibit that’s close to home.

    The Ruth and John West Gallery will be full of artwork made by Manitowoc County residents and museum members.

    You’ll see a heavy inspiration from Manitowoc’s beautiful coastal landscape and green countryside in these works.

    The exhibit runs Aug. 18 to Sept. 15. See museum hours and information at www.rahrwestartmuseum.org .

    Celebrate the second anniversary of a local women’s boutique, Pink Petal!

    Specials, new arrivals and discounts will be available on many items from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Aug. 24.

    In addition, other small businesses from the area will set up pop-up shops in the store. A food truck will also be stationed out front.

    Enjoy the Manitowoc food truck rally now and into fall

    Manitowoc’s weekly food truck nights were so successful over the summer that it’s going to continue into October!

    Every Tuesday night, you can check out several different food trucks on the new North 11th Street boulevard adjacent to PetSkull Brewing.

    There’s also live music each night.

    Food trucks include Holla on Wheels, No Pork On Your Fork, Vue’s Thai Street Food, and others from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

    Saturday, Aug. 24

    • An Evening of the Eagles at the Capitol Civic Centre, 913 S. Eighth St. – 7:30 p.m.
    • Rebel Grace at the Manitowoc County Fair – 7:30 p.m.
    • The Fog at Salute to Everyone, 1107 S. 10th St. – 8:30 p.m.

    Sunday, Aug. 25

    • Pink Houses the Band at The Wharf – 2 p.m.
    • Wall of Denial at PetSkull Brewing – 2 p.m.
    • Jukebox Dave at Salute to Everyone – 3 p.m.
