Baltimore Orioles announce 2025 spring training schedule with 15 home games in Sarasota

The Baltimore Orioles released their spring training schedule for the 2025 Grapefruit League season. The schedule features 15 home games at Ed Smtih Stadium in Sarasota.

The 2025 season will mark Baltimore’s 16th Spring Training season in Sarasota.

Opening Day of the season will be Saturday, Feb. 22, against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota.

The Orioles will face nine different opponents during spring training, with eight of the club’s 30 games coming against American League East divisional rivals – Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays.

The Orioles will play a spring-high seven games against the Pittsburgh Pirates, three of which will be at Ed Smith Stadium. Baltimore will also host the Atlanta Braves, Detroit Tigers, Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies during the spring campaign.

Highlights of the 2025 Spring Training schedule include:

Feb. 27 & March 18: The Orioles will host the Toronto Blue Jays

March 3: The Orioles will host the Boston Red Sox for the only time

March 8: The Orioles will host the Tampa Bay Rays for the only time

March 20: The Orioles will host the New York Yankees for the only time

March 21: The Orioles will play their final home game against the Detroit Tigers
