Local artist Sofia Gonzalez-Ortiz will unveil her “Be The Change” mural at Silverdale’s new gaming center, T6 Game Link, on Saturday, July 20. The mural, part of a four-wall series, spans 10×28 feet in the main game room. Using the open doorway as a metaphor, Gonzalez-Ortiz designed and painted the mural with the goal of bringing vibrant and playful energy into the community’s gaming lounge, said a T6 Game Link press release.

Bonnie Gehman opened The Treasure Trove at 6 South 7th Street in Perkasie in 1980 with her friend, Dottie Kapusta, as her partner. Dottie’s husband got the two women started by giving them a loan.
