Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit Makes Personal Watercraft Donation to The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
SPRING HILL, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul 11, 2024-- The Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit recently donated two Yamaha WaveRunners to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC) to enhance enforcement of the Weeki Wachee Springs Protection Zone. In July of 2023, FWC Commissioners approved the Springs Protection Zone, which prohibits beaching, mooring, anchoring and grounding of vessels on the spring run of the Weeki Wachee River extending from the spring boil within Weeki Wachee State Park to the Rogers Park Boat Ramp. WEEKI WACHEE, Fla. - A Weeki Wachee pastor is facing charges after deputies say he gave a teenage relative alcohol and a THC gummy before sexually battering her. According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, a teenager who lives in New York told deputies that the incident took place while she was visiting a relative the day before in Brooksville.
