The current record stands at 98 degrees set back in 1986. With winds mainly from the south, expect increased humidity making it feel like temperatures are between 105 to 111 degrees. Remember to stay hydrated and take breaks if you’re outdoors.

River otter responsible for multiple deaths at Lake Eola
A river otter was discovered in Lake Eola on Monday, July 15, unfortunately, the City of Orlando’s Families, Parks, and Recreation staff also found two Australian Black swans and one duck dead. The assumption is that the otter is responsible for the deaths of the swans and ducks though it was not caught on camera.
Florida man arrested, accused of making threats against Trump, Vance on social media
A Florida man accused of making threats against former President Donald Trump, U.S. Sen. JD Vance and their families on social media was arrested on Friday, police said. The Jupiter Police Department said in a news release that officers arrested Michael W. Wiseman on charges of written threats to kill.
