March will be a busy time at the Perquimans County Library. The library will host numerous events for both kids and adults, including a book-signing by USA Today bestselling author Donna Everhart.

Everhart, author of the newly released “When the Jessamine Grows,” will be at the library at 514 S. Church St., Hertford on Tuesday, March 26, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

According to Everhart’s website, donnaeverhart.com, she was born and raised in Raleigh and now lives with her husband in Dunn. She’s a member of the North Carolina Writers’ Network, Historical Novel Society, and is the spokesperson for the MaryJanesFarm Book Club.
