DULUTH, Minn.—Beginning July 15, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is starting an intersection improvement project on Hwy 37 east of Hibbing. The project includes intersection improvements at both intersections with County Road 5, new lighting and pavement resurfacing between the two intersections. Hwy 37 will remain open, and County Road 5 traffic will be detoured during this project, which is expected to be completed in mid-September.

The County Road 5 north intersection detour is Hwy 92 to Hwy 25. The County Road 5 south intersection detour is County Road 16 and South Dublin Road.

More information on the project, including detour maps, can be found at mndot.gov/d1/projects/hwy37-cr5.
