This Minnesota native moved to Duluth about a year prior to joining us in the studio on July 18, 2024. The Americana singer/songwriter released an album, One Man's Story, in January of 2024; the concept album, inspired by the storytelling of John Steinbeck, follows a Midwestern man from the age of 13 through his life to old age and becoming a widower. We talked with Glad about the album, his mockumentary Tall People Music, and about his podcast, Glad to be Here, in which he interviews fellow Minnesota musicians. Glad shared some new songs as well as a song from the album.
