CHICKASHA – Mayor Zach Grayson was nominated by the City Council for appointment to the District 9 seat on the board of directors of the Oklahoma Municipal League. Wynona offers blended learning, full virtual enrollment
The Wynona Public School District has joined the THRIVE Learning Collaborative, Oklahoma’s only public virtual school cooperative. Pre-kindergarten through fifth grade students attending on-site at Wynona will continue to be provided with traditional full-day instruction by teachers present in the classroom, while students attending on-site in grades 6-12 will be provided blended learning options. Blended learning for these students will include a combination of traditional coursework with on-site instruction, in addition to virtual courses with live online instruction provided by certified THRIVE instructors.
