PHARR, Texas — A 19-year-old detention officer has been terminated following his arrest for sexual assault, according to the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office. Sebastian Rodriguez, of Pharr, Texas, was arrested by the Pharr Police Department on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Rodriguez was not on duty at the time of his arrest, the sheriff's office confirmed.
