WEST JEFFERSON — The Ashe County Democratic Party (ACDP) had a strong turnout of volunteers and visitors at its booth during the Christmas in July Festival in West Jefferson. Cleaning company employee stole items while working in North Carolina home, officials say
MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. — A woman who hired a North Carolina home cleaning service led investigators to the arrest of a thief, according to deputies. The McDowell County Sheriff's Office said on Thursday that deputies charged Jessica Tamara Myers, 37, of Marion, with felony larceny and obtaining property by false pretense.
