HIGH POINT — Pre-construction activity is underway for separate self-storage complexes that are proposed to be built at two locations in north High Point.

Crews are clearing land at 6531 Old Plank Road, which is a vacant site directly across from a Starbucks, a McDonald’s and a Sheetz gas station and convenience store, just off Interstate 74 at U.S. 311.
