CAHOKIA HEIGHTS – Eighteen area high school juniors and seniors were introduced to the fascinating world of aviation during Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC)’s inaugural Aviation Summer Sampler Camp held July 11 through July 13. Man accused of murdering girlfriend in Dutchtown
In Dutchtown, a 40-year-old man has been charged with the murder of his girlfriend on Friday, as reported by First Alert 4 from St. Louis, MO. Prosecutors in St. Louis have pressed charges against Derrick A. Smith, a resident of the city, for first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
