Athletes who receive votes generated by script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. </em></p><h3><strong> LOUISIANA ATHLETE OF THE WEEK NOMINEES </strong></h3><h3><strong> Abram Wardell, Calvary Baptist football </strong></h3><p> The Cavaliers’ quarterback completed 23-of-29 passes for 417 yards and seven TDs as Calvary Baptist outlasted Oak Grove, 62-41, in a matchup between defending state champions. </p><h3><strong> Luke Delafield, North DeSoto football </strong></h3><p> Delafield completed 22-of-29 passes for 318 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Griffins defeated defending state champion Union Parish, 33-21. </p><nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate><h3><strong> Jakobe Delaney, Haughton football </strong></h3><p> Delaney caught eight passes for 173 yards and a TD and also added 20 yards rushing as the Bucs won a wild affair against Homer, 48-46. </p><h3><strong> Norman Taylor, Rummel football </strong></h3><p> Taylor carried the ball 21 times for 173 yards and scored four TDs, including the eventual game-winning TD late in Rummel’s 42-35 win against Lafayette Christian Academy. </p><h3><strong> Elijah Haven, Dunham football </strong></h3><p> The standout sophomore quarterback threw for 350 yards and four TDs and added 101 yards rushing with two TDs in a 46-0 win against Parkview Baptist.
