    BASEBALL
    Highland Park 5, Hersey 2

    Josh Midanek and Louise Kasdin each drove in a run for the Giants in the nonconference win Wednesday, March 13.

    Highland Park 9, Stevenson 3

    David Finfer smacked two home runs including a grand slam, finishing with 6 RBI in the Giants’ season-opening win on Tuesday, March 12.

    Luke Weber earned the win with 5 innings of two-hit, two-run ball while striking out 10.

    SOFTBALL
    Highland Park-Deerfield 4, Regina 4

    Clare Levar’s grand slam helped the Panthers tie the game before it was called because of darkness on Tuesday, March 12, in Deerfield.

    Loyola 1, Glenbrook South 0

    Hunter Lewis, a sophomore, struck out 14 and walked just one while throwing a no-hitter for the Ramblers on Monday, March 11.

    Bella Giannos knocked in the lone run in the ballgame.

    GIRLS SOCCER
    New Trier 5, Prospect 0

    Charlotte Dellin netted two goals to lead the Trevians (2-0) to the home win on Thursday, March 14, in Winnetka.

    Glenbrook North 2, Loyola 0

    The Ramblers were shut out in the nonconference matchup on Thursday, March 14.

    Highland Park 2, Warren 1

    The Giants picked up a nonconference victory on Thursday, March 14.

    New Trier 3, Warren 0

    Josie Noble scored two goals and Cybil Evans one as the Trevians opened their season with a shutout win on Tuesday, March 12.

    Highland Park 3, Buffalo Grove 0

    The Giants shut out the Bison in their season opener on Tuesday, March 12.

    Regina 6, Lycee Francais 0

    Kate Ludden and Evie Koereger scored two goals apiece for the Panthers on Tuesday, March 12.

    Regina 3, Rochelle Zell 2

    Mae O’Regan scored twice and Kate Ludden once in the Panthers’ win Monday, March 11.

    GIRLS LACROSSE
    Highland Park 8, Regina 1

    The Giants earned the nonconference win on Thursday, March 14, in Highland Park.

    Maggie Bramblet scored the lone goal for the Panthers.
