Two Seriously Injured in Car Vs. Semi Crash
Two people were seriously injured in a crash involving a car and a semi on US 68 at Township Road 110 just north of Kenton this (Friday) morning. According to a release from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, Kailr Manns, of Kenton, drove onto 68 from a stop sign on 110, and his car was struck by a southbound semi being operated by Robert Shenkel, of Wayne, Michigan.

Detroit neighborhood remembers man killed from electrocution
(CBS DETROIT) – A neighborhood on Detroit's east side is mourning the death of a man who was electrocuted. His neighbors on Holcomb Street, north of Mack Avenue, say this tragedy could have been avoided had DTE listened to them. Although Detroit police were called out to the 4200 block of Holcomb Street at around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, neighbors believe the man was electrocuted around dawn, and his body wasn't discovered until 12 hours later. Tornado area added to severe storm forecast for Michigan Friday, includes Ann Arbor, Detroit, Flint, Saginaw, Bay City
The severe weather forecast has been fine-tuned for Friday. One well-defined area comes up as most likely to have severe thunderstorms and possibly an isolated tornado or two. We’ve been tracking a cold front scheduled to move through Lower Michigan Friday. This is still the case. The set-up of the cold front being in southeast and eastern Lower Michigan in the heat of the afternoon and evening gives us a very good idea where severe storms are most likely. The oppressive humidity is also going to come back into eastern Lower at the same time, helping to fuel scattered severe storms.
