Peachtree 9s All Stars Defeat Rockville for District Title
The Peachtree 9-Year-Old Baseball All Stars showed their strength in the batters’ box scoring 13 runs to Rockville’s 3 in six innings June 15. Parker Lambert scored three hits in three at-bats in the first, fourth and sixth innings, and had one RBI. Shayn Steppe led in RBIs with two hits scoring three runs. Early College Scholar Makes the Climb
Western Albemarle High School senior Reagan Gresge graduated this spring with a full Associate’s degree in addition to her high school diploma after being one of the first participants in the school division’s Early College Scholars Program. Gresge earned an impressive 63 additional credits (the equivalent of 21 classes) while also completing her regular degree requirements, which will allow her to bypass as much as two years of college at an in-state school.
Green Olive Tree Is Moving
August 1 is fast approaching. That’s the date when we must be completely moved out of our current location, where we have been since 2010. We will be moving into space at Music Today. We realize this is not ideal, since it means you will have to park on the north side of 240 and cross the street to come into the store. There are several handicapped parking spaces close to the entrance. We are grateful that we can continue to be a part of the Crozet community.
