Businessman linked to prominent Springfield business charged with assault
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - A Springfield businessman is charged with three counts of domestic assault and kidnapping. Investigators say Marco Denis picked up the victim at Sequiota Park to go shopping in Branson on July 14. Instead, he drove the woman to his boat in Kimberling City. Investigators say the victim told police Denis beat her repeatedly and threw her into the water several times.
Branson Christian Church celebrates 100 years
A downtown Branson landmark is hosting a milestone celebration for one of the city’s oldest churches. Branson Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) marked their 100th anniversary during the weekend of June 22nd and 23rd. The church was founded on June 24, 1924, making it the second oldest church in the Branson area, and the oldest to be in its original church building.

Mo. DNR awards $50K to Delta for wastewater system improvements
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KFVS) - The City of Delta was awarded a grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to evaluate the city’s wastewater system.
