Zion Wildfire Grows To 24 Acres
(Springdale, UT) — The wildfire in Zion National Park is growing in size. Utah Fire Info says the blaze grew to 24 acres as of yesterday afternoon and crews didn’t report any containment. Officials explained a local resident reported the blaze Wednesday afternoon and it led to the closure of Hop Valley Trail. It has been dubbed the Kolob Terrace Fire and about 40 wildland firefighters are working to put out the flames.
Canadian crash leaves Kaysville family grieving
KAYSVILLE, Utah — A Kaysville family is grieving after a father was killed and a son seriously injured while on a trip in Canada. A head-on car crash in Nova Scotia, last Saturday claimed the life of a Kaysville man and two Canadian teenagers.
