NW Kan. teen hospitalized after motorcycle strikes a deer
PHILLIPS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 8:30p.m. Thursday in Phillips County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Hayden J. Gottstine, 18, Logan, was westbound on Kansas 9 approximately six miles west of U.S. 183. The motorcycle struck a deer that entered the roadway. The motorcycle came to rest in the eastbound lane facing south.
