Parsons School District launching free meals for all students under new program
PARSONS, Kan. — The Parsons School District qualifies for a sweeping lunch program that includes every student at school. USD 503 now has the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) designation. In other words, they can offer a free breakfast and lunch to every student regardless of income. There’s an extensive application process through federal and state authorities to prove they have at least 25 percent enrollment who qualify under free and reduced guidelines.

With Ellinwood's 51st After Harvest Festival kicking off Thursday, the mid-summer event will feature highs mostly in the 80s and evening lows in the 60s.
