DEADWOOD, S.D. - The Deadwood 3-Wheeler Rally gears up for its 10th anniversary from July 7 through 12, drawing hundreds of trikes to the scenic Black Hills of South Dakota. Hosted at the Deadwood Days of '76 Event Complex (DEC) on 501 Main Street, the rally has been anchored by the First Gold Gaming Resort since its inception in 2015. Over the past 9 years, trikers from across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and even Alaska have converged here, with 651 participants and 358 trikes currently registered from 36 states.

Nearly 200 cities, counties and tribes across South Dakota will collectively receive $500,000 in grants to eliminate mosquitoes and prevent the spread of West Nile Virus. The state Department of Health selected grant recipients based on factors such as the population of the applying jurisdiction and its history of human WNV cases through 2023. Every community that applied for funding received some, with amounts ranging from $500 to $20,000.
