ORLANDO, Fla. — The National Hurricane Center has tagged a new area of interest in the tropical Atlantic that has some chance of developing as it moves toward Florida. According to the NHC, an area of disturbed weather is expected to interact with an approaching tropical wave during the next several days. Jacksonville Man Indicted for Defrauding Investors and Alleged PPP Loan Fraud
In a terse disclosure, United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announced a sweeping indictment against Jacksonville native Jared Dean Eakes. Wells Fargo files layoff notice for 74 employees
Wells Fargo filed a letter with state and city officials July 23 saying it is laying off 74 workers in Jacksonville as it exits one of its business units. The letter filed under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act said the bank decided to exit the global operations business unit within its chief operating office.
