A man is in custody after allegedly firing shots at parked cars and a building in North Plains.

Just before 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of gunfire near the 15500 block of Northwest Dairy Creek Road, north of North Plains.

Authorities said the caller saw someone in a black 2007 Chevy Silverado firing into a parked Chevy Suburban.

Deputies located 57-year-old Randall Cuillier in the Silverado and took him into custody. Cuillier is accused of shooting at multiple parked vehicles, as well as an outbuilding.

Cuillier, a North Plains resident, was lodged in the Washington County jail on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon, recklessly endangering another person and first-degree criminal mischief.

No one was injured during the shooting, according to the sheriff’s office.

Anyone who witnessed the shooting and has not yet been contacted by deputies is urged to call nonemergency dispatch at 503-629-0111.
